From May 18–22, we’ll gather at Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda for five days of meaningful connection, strategic collaboration, and well-earned celebration.
Set between pristine Caribbean beaches and lush tropical landscape, this all-inclusive, eco-chic resort offers the perfect balance of productivity and restoration. Our time together will include company programming, team experiences, shared meals, and time to recharge.

This off-site is designed as a fully shared experience, and participation in all scheduled company gatherings — including meetings, group meals, and planned evening events — is expected.
If you have a personal health concern or experience an emergency during the trip, please connect with the Planning Team as soon as possible. We understand that unexpected situations arise and will support you accordingly.

Offsite Logistics - Getting to the DR

We will arrive on Monday, May 18, and depart on Friday, May 22.

Getting There -
Recommended Airport:
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) – approximately 1 hour 15 minutes
Ground Transportation: Private group shuttles will be organized based on your arrival time.
If there are delays with your flight, please get in touch with your captain to let them know. If your transportation needs have changed, contact our Event Planner Kelly Studer at (925) 324-4464.

Passport Requirements
All travelers must have:
A valid passport, with at least 6 months’ validity beyond travel dates (recommended best practice)
Completed electronic entry form (E-Ticket system) prior to arrival
Proof of onward/return travel
Please verify your passport expiration date now to avoid last-minute issues.
Visa Information for Non-U.S. Citizens
U.S. passport holders generally do not require a visa for short stays in the Dominican Republic. However, visa requirements vary based on citizenship.
If you are not a U.S. citizen:
Visit the official Dominican Republic immigration website or your country’s Dominican consulate website.
Confirm whether a tourist visa is required for your nationality.
Apply well in advance if needed (processing times vary).
We recommend starting this process at least 8–10 weeks before departure.

Vaccinations & Prevention:
Please check vaccination requirements for travel to the DR based on your home country. Mosquito repellent is advised. -
Updated travel and expense guidelines are in the Employee Handbook, and reimbursement forms are available HERE. Please review these prior to the offsite and carefully track your travel expenses so you have the required documentation for reimbursement. Submit your expense report as soon as possible after the offsite but no later than 30 days.

As we will be together in meetings and small group activities, we kindly ask you to be conscientious of your health. If you are feeling under the weather, please be conservative and wear a mask to contain germs (masks will be available at the front desk). If you need to opt out of activities or meals, we can arrange room service.
Limited medical care will be available at Club Med. Hospitals and more advanced medical care are located in Punta Cana if needed.
In case of emergency, contact Ashley or Margot. All attendees must submit an emergency contact prior to travel.

Each team member will have a private room and bathroom, and you will receive your room assignment at check-in. A personal credit card will also be required upon check-in in the event you have any personal charges that are not covered as part of the Offsite. Items NOT covered by Hostfully include gift shop items. All other expenses, including gratuity, are covered.

During the offsite, we will have three meals per day: each meal will have multiple stations with options for all. Meals will include vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options to ensure everyone can enjoy.
As part of our all-inclusive experience, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included throughout your stay.
We encourage everyone to enjoy the offerings responsibly and to remain mindful that this is a company-sponsored event. Professional conduct and respectful behavior are expected at all times — including during social gatherings and evening events.
